All around the world – no problem for us. This could be one of the mottoes at Langen Feuerungsbau in Duisburg-Rheinhausen. ‘We have a great deal of experience in realising cross-border projects, and we rely on collaborations not just between Germany and any other individual country, but also between multiple countries if necessary – even across different continents,’ states Anja Vogt, Managing Director of the steel construction company, which specialises in special fire-resistant doors, fire fittings, inspection hatches and inspection openings. The boss can also provide an example of this: ‘For instance, we supply a Venezuelan company that builds plants. This company is supplied with our special fire-resistant doors in the South American country. The company in turn designs on behalf of an Austrian service company. Construction of the power plant itself, however, takes place later, in Germany’. For Langen Feuerungsbau, with its extensive international expertise in dealing with the various standards and customs laws of the respective destination countries, this is a simple matter. ‘Every country has its own customs regulations and standards. We know our way around, and we make sure that every order reaches its destination on time, on schedule and as intended, regardless of who ordered it and where the product is ultimately used,’ asserts Managing Director and Operations Manager Karsten Vogt.
Langen Feuerungsbau acts in accordance with international standards, not only when building new firing systems, but also in handling spare parts orders. This is because there are incineration plants all over the world where there is a demand for replacement parts for inspection openings or access doors in special sizes or for manholes whose manufacturer is no longer producing them. ‘In these cases, we always offer our customers the option of finding a customised solution or even building the old products according to a sample or drawing. In cast iron or as a welded and heat-resistant steel construction. We have highly experienced employees and up-to-date machinery, and we do everything we can to provide our customers around the world with a suitable solution, flexibly and on time,’ says Karsten Vogt.
