We specialise in high-quality fireproof explosion dampers for incineration plants, combustion plants and the energy industry. We manufacture these special doors and ports for power plants, industrial furnaces, waste incineration plants, biogas plants, boiler and drying plants and flue gas systems, among others. Customers can find a wide range of explosion doors of rectangular, square, oval, and round design in our catalogue. Sophisticated sealing techniques ensure perfect tightness and pressure distribution. All products are manufactured with the appropriate seals. Gas-tight versions are supplied by us with asbestos-free, woven and graphite seals with Inconel wire.
We use grey cast iron and cast steel in various alloys
Our experienced employees and our efficient machinery enable Langen Feuerungsbau to react quickly to special requests at a fair price-performance ratio. Our products are manufactured from different types of cast iron depending on the temperature range and are heat-resistant up to 500 degrees Celsius as standard. For higher temperatures up to 1300 degrees Celsius, we use heat-resistant cast steel.

Retrofitting for heat protection of the explosion doors is possible
In addition, depending on the temperature range, we can equip our explosion dampers with fireclay to ensure better heat resistance. The flaps can also be combined in different quality levels within the incineration plant - always depending on the incineration temperature and the pressure conditions at the place of use. In this way, a precise gradation of the individual qualities is possible. At the next plant shutdown, simply retrofit the incineration plant
Of course, it is also possible to retrofit your combustion plant with the appropriate explosion dampers or to equip it with new ones. At the next scheduled shutdown of the plant, e.g., as part of an overhaul, we will be happy to replace your old explosion dampers or provide them with improved heat protection or new seals. Many of our explosion dampers are available from stock ex works.
