Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH was founded more than 60 years ago by Willy Langen as Stahlbau Langen in Burscheid. Over the years, our Feuerungsbau company has earned an excellent reputation as a supplier of doors for various industries and the energy sector. We are highly specialised in our niche: Whether entry doors, inspection doors or explosion doors - our high-quality special doors meet all requirements for the segments power plants, energy industry such as waste incineration plants and biogas plants. Our high-quality and reliable fire doors are also used in annealing furnaces, heating furnaces, in the cement industry and steel industry.
We see ourselves as a competence and performance partner for ports and doors that are used in firing systems and must reliably withstand the harshest temperature conditions.
Fire-resistant doors for special industrial requirements - customised production
We are advisors and partners to our customers because each of our special doors must fulfil special requirements depending on the purpose and location. Many of our fire-resistant doors and ports are therefore custom-made, for example, we manufacture according to customer-specific specifications and dimensions. We offer fireproof doors and ports in various shapes (square, rectangular, round and oval), with or without inspection ports and, on request, equip our fire doors with fireclay boxes, insulation boxes, protective plates, adapter connections and flanges or similar features.

Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH has been managed by Anja and Karsten Vogt since 2021, and the company headquarters were relocated from Burscheid to Duisburg-Rheinhausen in the same year. With the takeover of Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH, the entrepreneurial couple have added to their group of companies. Anja and Karsten Vogt have been managing Bongardt & Vogt GmbH, a company with a long tradition in steel, apparatus, and mechanical engineering, for years in the fourth generation. Founded by Reinhard Bongardt - the great-grandfather of today's managing director - in the 1930s, Bongardt & Vogt GmbH has developed into a state-of-the-art contract manufacturer (according to customer drawings) and a sought-after partner in the field of mechanical engineering over the course of more than eight decades of its existence. Today, Bongardt & Vogt GmbH manufactures mainly in the industrial sector for high-pressure pumps, machine cooling technology and machine and apparatus construction. The modern machinery consists of several CNC machining centres, CNC boring machine, CNC radial drilling machine, CNC automatic band saw, 3D CNC water jet cutting machine, CNC edge bench, CNC round and NC horizontal bending machines and hydraulic CNC guillotine shears.
The acquisition of Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH perfectly complements the group of companies and enables the group to expand its own service portfolio to include mould construction for new products and models.
Modern manufacturing in furnace construction: maintenance hole covers, cleaning doors, inspection doors, access doors, customised inspection ports. The course for the future has been set.
The central location on the western edge of the Ruhr metropolis with excellent transport connections to rail, Düsseldorf airport and several motorways as well as the proximity to Logport Duisburg contribute to the success of Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH just as much as the generous space available at the company headquarters. Our experience in working with metal, which has grown over many decades, the state-of-the-art machinery in our production facilities and our qualified and motivated employees set the course for Langen Feuerungsbau GmbH to be optimally positioned for the future. Our own design department and in-house steel construction complement the possibilities of our on-site production.
