Energy efficiency at Langen Feuerungsbau: Our contribution to climate protection

2021, Langen Feuerungsbau has had an energy consultation carried out by TÜV - sponsored by the state of NRW. The resulting suggestions for improvement will help to improve our company's energy balance and reduce CO2 emissions in the coming years. In this way, we can also make an important contribution to climate protection. Investments and repairs are already being planned and carried out with a view to achieving these goals. One priority investment is to replace the old oil-fired fan heaters in production and the gas heaters in the office area. These will be replaced by modern ventilation and heating technology based on air-source heat pumps and solar by the end of 2022, making this area CO2-neutral in the future.

Further plans include the renewal of the entire lighting with modern LED technology with daylight-dependent control.
